Catalyst Audio Tracks is a group exhibiting of audio tracks which took place in the sonic Arts Research Centre, Belfast, Northern Ireland (2018). This collection featured a 00:03:57 snippet of a soundscape highlighting daily life in central Marrakech, Morocco.

 

This soundscape brings focus to how acoustics can contribute to the teachings of cultures and communities thriving within a city. It carries to the forefront socioeconomic and religious factors. It exposes industrial noise and factors of tourism while bringing out insights into cultural factors. Through listening to the soundscapes of central locations of The Red City, observations on life within the city can be made.
